1. A system, comprising:
a communications interface;
at least one memory storing instructions and a repository storing user identifying data, including a plurality of digital identifiers (IDs) and a plurality of sets of input credentials associated with a plurality of users, wherein each digital ID uniquely identifies a particular user in the plurality of users and corresponds to a particular set of input credentials in the plurality of sets of input credentials, and wherein the particular set of input credentials is used to access a user account associated with the particular user; and
at least one hardware processor interoperably coupled with the at least one memory and the communications interface, wherein the instructions instruct the at least one hardware processor to:
receive, via the communications interface and from a computing device associated with a first user, a request to create a new account for the first user and a set of input credentials associated with the first user;
perform an identity verification of the first user using a trusted consortium network, wherein the trusted consortium network is associated with a plurality of consortium member systems and is used to verify identities of particular users of each consortium member system, wherein performing the identity verification of the first user using the trusted consortium network comprises:
identifying, using the set of input credentials associated with the first user and the user identifying data stored in the repository, a first digital ID corresponding to the set of input credentials associated with the first user;
transmitting, via the communications interface and using an API associated with the trusted consortium network, the first digital ID to the trusted consortium network;
receiving, via the communications interface and from the trusted consortium network, digital ID data corresponding to the first digital ID transmitted to the trusted consortium network, wherein the digital ID data includes a set of information associated with the first user from one or more accounts at one or more consortium member systems, wherein the one or more user accounts are associated with the first digital ID and are different from the user account associated with the first user; and
verifying, using the digital ID data, an identity of the first user; and
in response to verifying the identity of the first user, create the new account for the first user.
