1. A vehicle system, comprising: an internal combustion engine; an integrated starter/generator selectively coupled to the internal combustion engine via a driveline disconnect clutch; a belt integrated starter/generator coupled to the internal combustion engine; and a controller including executable instructions stored in non-transitory memory that cause the controller to rotate an engine in a first direction in response to the internal combustion engine having stopped rotating in a position where a piston of a cylinder of the internal combustion engine is not within a predetermined crankshaft angle of top-dead-center compression stroke of the cylinder, and to rotate the engine in a second direction without rotating the internal combustion engine in the first direction in response to the internal combustion engine having stopped rotating in a position where the piston of the cylinder is within the predetermined crankshaft angle of top-dead-center compression stroke of the cylinder when a vehicle in which the internal combustion engine resides is traveling on a road above a threshold speed.
