1. A surgical system, comprising:
a stapling instrument; comprising:
a shaft;
a jaw comprising a proximal end and a distal end;
a first transmission antenna; and
a second power transfer antenna, wherein said second power transfer antenna is independent from said first transmission antenna; and
a staple cartridge seatable in said jaw; wherein said staple cartridge comprises:
a cartridge body;
staples removably stored in said cartridge body; and
a cartridge communication array configured to communicate with said first transmission antenna and said second power transfer antenna.
