| 1. An apparatus for securing a level to a pipe, comprising:
a first portion for attaching to a level;
a second portion extending from the first portion and having a hook-shaped end for fitting at least part way around a pipe;
and
a spring arranged to bias the hook-shaped end in a direction toward the level to which the first portion is attached, whereby
the spring allows the apparatus to secure the level to different sized pipes.
