| 1. A light system comprising:
a substrate with a first surface;
a first rigid light pipe unit embedded in the substrate, having at least two second ends on the first surface of the substrate
and at least one first end, adapted to receive a light input at the first end and to transmit the light output at the second
ends; and
a second rigid light pipe unit, wherein the substrate is comprised of a plurality of sections coupled together; and wherein
one section contains the first rigid light pipe unit and another section contains the second rigid light pipe such that the
plurality of sections are coupled together to create a pattern.
