1. A method for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis comprising administering to a subject suffering from rheumatoid arthritis
a therapeutically-effective amount of a compound selected from compounds of the following formula and pharmaceutically acceptable
salts thereof:

 R1 is: hydrogen, C1-7alkyl, C3-20heterocyclyl, or C5-20aryl; and

a partially unsaturated aliphatic C2-7alkylene group, or
