| 1. A filter column 1, comprising:
a body having a passageway extending through the body; the body having a first end, a second end, an outer surface and an
inner surface;
a filter located in the passageway;
a lid for closing one end of the passageway; and
at least one vent located in the lid, wherein the vent(s) is tapered.
