| 5. The image pickup apparatus as set forth in claim 4,
wherein the main flexible substrate further comprises a flexible insulating substrate, a conductive pattern formed on the
insulating substrate, and a reinforcement plate made of materials harder than the insulating substrate and having a size corresponding
to the undulatable surface portion, and
wherein the reinforcement plate is mounted to the insulating substrate.
