| 1. An audio recording system, comprising:
a first telephone instrument located at a first location within a prison environment and configured for communications with
a second telephone instrument located at a second location remote from said first location;
an analog to digital converter at said first location, having an input and an output, said first telephone instrument coupled
to said input of said analog to digital converter; and
a data storage device located at a third location physically remote from said first location and said second location, said
data storage device coupled to said output of said analog to digital converter, whereby conversation data from conversations
conducted by way of said first telephone instrument may be recorded and stored at said third location physically remote from
said first location and said second location.
