1. A method of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging comprising the steps of:
generating a temporal frequency spectrum of vibrational forces induced with a diffusion gradient pulse sequence having a plurality of diffusion weighted gradient pulses;
applying the diffusion gradient pulse sequence in an MR scan if the generated temporal frequency spectrum is dissimilar from a mechanical resonance frequency spectrum of an MR system.
