1. A process for the hydrotreatment of an olefinic gasoline feedstock containing diolefinic and acetylenic compounds so as to reduce at least the diolefinic and acetylenic compounds content, comprising at least one of stages (a1) and (c) of selective hydrogenation on a catalyst comprising, on an inert support, at least a sulphide of an element of the group of iron, cobalt and nickel, and passing to said at least one of stages (a1) and (c), makeup hydrogen having a CO + CO2 content comprised between 5 and 200 ppmv and a CO content comprised between 1 and 20 ppmv.
