| 1. A method for adapting circuit components to changing operating conditions, the method comprising:
providing a module that includes integrated circuit chips coupled together by a circuit board;
sensing a state of an operating condition using a sensing arrangement on the circuit board, wherein the state of the operating
condition comprises a state of the input power supply to the module and wherein the input power supply comprises an analog
signal; and
transmitting information related to the sensed state to at least one of the integrated circuit chips, wherein the integrated
circuit chips are electrically coupled together via a communication bus, and wherein transmitting information related to the
sensed state comprises transmitting a digital signal over the communication bus.
