| 1. A toner which is negatively charged comprising:
a colorant; and
a binder resin,
wherein the toner has an acid value of from 5 to 20 mg KOH/g and an amine value of from 0.5 to 10 mg KOH/g,
wherein the toner is prepared by a method comprising:
dissolving or dispersing toner constituents comprising a resin component comprising at least one of a polymerizing monomer
and a binder resin, and a tertiary amine compound, in an organic solvent to prepare a solution or a dispersion, wherein the
tertiary amine compound has the following formula (I):
