1. A method of detecting a soft error in a latch element, comprising:
precharging two dynamic nodes while driving the latch element with a data value when a clock signal is in a first state;
selectively discharging a first one of the dynamic nodes based on the data value when the clock signal transitions from the first state to a second state;
further discharging a second one of the dynamic nodes in response to the soft error when the clock signal is in the second state; and
activating an error signal when both of the nodes are discharged.
