| 1. An image forming device comprising:
a fixing device to fix a transfer member that carries a toner image that is not yet fixed;
a temperature detection device to detect a temperature within the image forming device in which the fixing device is provided;
and
a control device to correct a control temperature of the fixing device for a first time period using only the detection result
of the temperature detection device, the temperature detection device being arranged in the vicinity of the fixing device.
