| 1. A radiation image capturing system comprising:
an image capturing unit including a radiation source for emitting a radiation;
a cassette including a radiation conversion panel for detecting the radiation which has been emitted from said radiation source
and which has passed through a subject, and converting the detected radiation into radiation image information;
a position detecting unit for detecting respective positions of said radiation source and said radiation conversion panel;
and
a determining unit for determining whether said radiation source and said radiation conversion panel are placed in head-on
facing relation to each other based on the positions of said radiation source and said radiation conversion panel which are
detected by said position detecting unit;
wherein said radiation source and said radiation conversion panel are separate from each other and movable with respect to
each other.
