| 1. Method for monitoring an electrical energy storage device adapted to transfer electric energy to drive an electric motor,
comprising:
determining a state of charge and a temperature of the electrical energy storage device subsequent to a stabilization period;
selectively actuating the electric motor;
measuring a minimum voltage output from the electrical energy storage device during the selective actuation of the electric
motor;
determining a threshold voltage state based upon the state of charge and the temperature of the electrical energy storage
device; and,
determining a remaining useful life of the electrical energy storage device based upon the minimum voltage and the threshold
voltage state.
