| 1. An elongate medical device for performing medical procedures on a patient comprising:
a first member having a distal end, an outer surface, and a first lumen,
the first member having an elongated configuration wherein the length of the first member is at least ten times greater than
the width of the first member;
a second member positioned within the first member, the second member having a lumen therein; and
a hood stop, the hood stop positioned within the first member, the hood stop having a distal region facing the distal end
of the first member and a shoulder region, the shoulder region being configured to limit the travel of at least the first
member or the second member past the hood stop.
