| 11. A method for supplying power to circuit modules, comprising:
generating an on/off control signal by a switch control unit;
applying the on/off control signal to a plurality of switch power units arranged in a ring shape on an integrated circuit,
wherein said integrated circuit comprises a switchable power ring;
providing a switched current by the switch power units to provide a power supply to the circuit modules arranged within the
switchable power ring, wherein said switchable power ring comprises two global power wires and one switched power wire, which
are established in two metal layers of the integrated circuit; and
connecting one of the global power wires and the switched power wire to the circuit modules arranged within the switchable
power ring.
