1. A monomer, oligomer or polymer of formula I

R1 is, in each occurrence independently of one another, halogen, or straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl with 1 to 20 C-atoms, which is unsubstituted, mono- or poly-substituted by F, Cl, Br, I or CN, wherein one or more non-adjacent CH2 groups are optionally replaced, in each case independently from one another, by —O—, —S—, —NH—, —NR0—, —CO—, —COO—, —OCO—, —OCO—O—, —SO2—, —S—CO—, —CO—S—, —CH═CH— or —C≡C— in such a manner that O and/or S atoms are not linked directly to one another, or R1is optionally substituted heteroaryl or P—Sp—,

X1 and X2 are independently of each other H, F, Cl or CN,
a, b, c, d are independently of each other 0 or 1, with a +b+c+d>0, and wherein in at least one recurring unit [(A)a-(B)b—(C)c-(D)d] at least one of a and c is 1, and
n is an integer ≧1,
and wherein the recurring units [(A)a-(B)b—(C)c—(D)d] are identical or different.
