| 1. A reaction injection molding process (RIM process) for producing a polyurethane molded article with a surface layer having
a density of at least 0.8 g/cm3 from
(a) one or two polyisocyanate components, and
(b) two polyol components,
the method comprising:
providing a molding machine which can feed distinctly the polyisocyanate component(s) and two polyol components;
feeding a first polyurethane mixture liquid comprising a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component without a blowing
agent into a mold with the molding machine; and for from 0.1 to 3.0 seconds prior to completion of feeding the first polyurethane
mixture liquid,
feeding a second polyurethane mixture liquid comprising a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component with the blowing
agent into the mold,
wherein the total duration of the first and second feeding steps is from 1.0 to 10.0 seconds.
