| 1. An exhaust system for a motorcycle comprising:
respective exhaust pipes extending from respective cylinders of an engine; and
a muffler having a plurality of expansion chambers downstream of an assembly of the respective exhaust pipes;
wherein the muffler includes a first expansion chamber and a second expansion chamber that are connected in series with the
first expansion chamber by a connecting pipe the respective exhaust pipes and the assembly are disposed at one of a left or
right side of an oil pan of the engine, with the first expansion chamber being disposed at another of the left and right side
of the oil pan, and
the second expansion chamber is disposed to a rear of the engine.
