| 1. A wireless communication apparatus for performing an extended algorithm (EA) with over-sampling, the apparatus comprising:
a first input receiving a signal r(1);
a second input for receiving a channel impulse response h(1);
a first zero padding unit for zero padding the received signal r(1) in the tail until the length of sequence achieves length Lm and output a first output rE(1);
a second zero padding unit for zero padding the channel impulse response h(1) in the tail until the length of the extended sequence achieves length Lm and outputting a second output u1;
a first processing unit for performing a discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) or fast Fourier transform (FFT) on rE(1) such that F(rE(1));
a second processing unit for performing a DFT or FFT on u1 such that F(u1);
a conjugate unit for conjugating F(u1) such that F(u1)*; and
a multiplier for multiplying the sequences F(rE(1)) and F(u1)* such that F(rE(1))·F(u1)*, wherein for M sampled sequences, sampled sequences 2, . . . , M are processed such that F(rE(m))·F(um)*, m=2, . . . , M.
