| 1. A printing apparatus comprising:
a platen to guide a print medium to a position facing a print head, said platen pivotably attached to a chassis and movable
between a first position and a second position that is further away from said print head than the first position;
an eject roller held at a predetermined position on said chassis to eject the printed print medium; and
an eject guide to guide the print medium from the platen toward the eject roller, said eject guide pivotally supported on
the platen;
wherein when said platen exists at the first position, said eject guide is located in contact with said platen, and wherein
when said platen exists at the second position, said eject guide is located in contact with the chassis.
