1. A receiver comprising:
two or more dual conversion tuners, wherein each of said tuners comprises:
a first mixer having a first input for receiving signals comprising a plurality of channels and a second input in communication with a first local oscillator signal, wherein said first mixer outputs a first intermediate signal;
a first intermediate filter in communication with said first mixer wherein said first intermediate filter provides coarse signal selection by removing a first group of selected channels from said first intermediate signal;
a second mixer having a first input in communication with said first intermediate filter and a second input in communication with a second local oscillator signal; and
a second intermediate filter coupled to said second mixer, wherein said second intermediate filter provides fine signal selection by removing a second group of selected channels from said second intermediate signal, and wherein said first and second local oscillator signals are provided by a plurality of phase locked loops (PLLs); and
a single RF input driving said tuners.
