| 1. A method for multiplexing external drivers to a pulse count driver, comprising the steps of:
providing motor drive circuitry external to a microprocessor and pulse count driver circuit, said external circuitry interfacing
with at least two DC motors and configured to control said motors; and
issuing selection and control signals from said microprocessor to said pulse count driver circuit and said external circuitry,
said selection signals being used by said pulse count driver circuit and external circuitry to select which of the at least
two DC motors will be responsive to said control signals, and said control signals controlling said selected motors.
