1. A data processing system transmitting accessibility requirements, the data processing system comprising:
a bus system;
a communications unit connected to the bus system;
a memory connected to the bus system, wherein the memory includes a set of instructions and
a processing unit connected to the bus system, wherein the processing unit executes a set of instructions to request a web page from a server, receive the web page from the server; parse content in the web page for a specified indicator, wherein the specified indicator is an object type that identifies a type of the server; query a client in the data processing system for accessibility requirements in response to the specified indicator being present; generate an extensible markup language (XML) document that contains the accessibility requirements; and send the XML document that contains the accessibility requirements to the server, wherein the querying, generating and sending steps are performed by a plug-in to a browser program that is activated by receipt of the specified indicator contained in the web page received from the server.
