9. A computing system, comprising:
a number of routing paths for routing a number of computing device operational items, each item having time information associated therewith;
multiple queues associated with the number of routing paths for holding the number of items;
a hardware based logic component having executable instructions for reviewing at least one particular item of the number of items to determine whether to discard the item based upon the time information associated therewith; and
wherein the executable instructions for reviewing the particular item includes defining a length of time for action on the particular item and reviewing the time information the particular item to determine whether the length of time for action has passed or will pass while the particular item is in the queue in which it is positioned and therefore the particular item should be discarded.
