1. A user station in a UMTS radio communication system, comprising:
means for receiving a downlink signal from a base station;
means for transmitting an uplink signal to the base station; and
means for determining, in an operating state with closed-loop antenna diversity, via measurements of the downlink signal a weighting vector for ensuring reception of the downlink signal at the user station and for delivering feedback information to the base station, the feedback information representing the determined weighted vector; and
means for transmitting a feedback information, via the user station to the base station, between a time of the transition to the operating state with closed-loop antenna diversity and completion of a first measurement after the transition, wherein the feedback information represents a pre-determined weighting vector determined before the time of the transition, and wherein in case that at the time of the transition to the operating state with closed loop antenna the transmission of the downlink signal is interrupted, the user station, between the time of the transition to the operating state with closed loop antenna diversity and the determination of a current weighting vector, delivers zeros as the feedback information.
