| 1. A wireless device interface, comprising:
a media access controller (MAC) on a printed circuit board (PCB);
a physical layer (PHY) device; and
one or more high speed serial input/output channels interfacing the MAC to the PHY device,
wherein at least one of the high speed serial input/output channels is configured to operate as a standard channel and provide
a 2.5 GHz embedded clock in each data stream when in a first mode and operate as a MAC-PHY interface and provide a 500 MHz
or lower embedded clock in each data stream when in a second mode.
