1. An isolated negative-sense single stranded RNA virus MPV belonging to the sub-family Pneumovirinae of the family Paramyxoviridae and identifiable as phylogenetically corresponding to the genus Metapneumovirus, wherein the virus is a human virus wherein the amino acid sequence of the N protein of the virus is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO:366.
