1. A security feature comprising oxygen-containing phosphor particles printed onto the surface of an article to form an identifiable mark on the article, wherein said phosphor particles have a substantially spherical morphology and have a weight average particle size of not greater than about 10 μm, and wherein said phosphor particles comprise (Y,Gd)BO3.
