| 1. An apparatus for automatically supplying feed to an animal comprising:
manger means;
control means for generating a control signal to selectively control a supply amount and sequence of at least two different
types of feed provided to said manger means; and
parameter measuring means for measuring the value of a variable parameter and for issuing a parameter value signal to said
control means;
wherein said control means comprises processing means for processing the parameter value signal into the control signal, said
processing means generating the control signal using an algorithm for prioritizing measured parameters and input data;
wherein said parameter measuring means comprises means for determining the substantially concurrent milk yield of an animal
consuming feed from said manger means and issuing a signal relating to the milk yield to said processing means.
