| 1. A network device provided with an Ethernet interface and interconnecting with another device by auto negotiation, comprising:
a link establishing function unit compulsorily establishing a link with said other device; and
an on/off setting function unit setting on/off the function of said link establishing function unit, wherein
said link establishing function unit is comprised of a data transmission suppression unit for suppressing transmission of
user data to said other device until a sequence based on said auto negotiation is completely ended, wherein
a transmission suppression time during which said data transmission suppression unit suppresses transmission of data is set
to be longer than a wait time of a prescribed link timer.
