1. A sheet finisher for use in an image forming apparatus including a front cover, the sheet finisher comprising:
a punching unit including a plurality of punches of a predetermined diameter and configured to punch a sheet to produce scraps; and
a scrap conveying unit configured to convey the scraps produced from the sheet by said punching unit along a direction which is substantially perpendicular to a direction of the sheet conveyance; and
wherein the scrap conveying unit comprises a stripe-like conveying body whose first surface on which the scraps are conveyed is formed with projections, and whose opposite second surface does not include projections, and a distance between the projections is smaller than the predetermined diameter of the punches.
