1. A method, comprising:
receiving, via a merchant server from a shopper, a request for opinions regarding a garment and a minimum number of responses that are to be collected from a plurality of peers before providing an indication of the opinions;
determining an image of the garment;
selecting, by the merchant server for the shopper, the plurality of peers to provide the opinion, the peers being selected based on a characteristic associated with the shopper and on demographic information provided by the peers;
outputting, by the merchant server, to each of the plurality of peers the request for the opinion and the image of the garment;
receiving, by the merchant server, responses to the request from at least a subset of the plurality of peers;
determining, by the merchant server, that the minimum number of responses have been received;
processing, by the merchant server, the received responses into categories; and
outputting, by the merchant server to the shopper, an indication of the categories and a percentage associated with each category that corresponds to the opinions of the peers regarding the garment.
