| 1. A chimeric gene comprising:
a. a first DNA sequence encoding a protein transduction domain (PTD) having HIV-Tat PTD activity;
b. a second DNA sequence, linked in translation frame with the first DNA sequence, a encoding J-domain having a heat shock
protein 70 (Hsp70)-interacting activity; and
c. a third DNA sequence, linked in translation frame with the second DNA sequence, a target protein or polypeptide.
