1. Phosphono-substituted siloxane obtainable by reacting
(a) an organosilicon compound of the general formula (I)

 R1 is selected from a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkenyl, linear or branched C1-C20 alkoxy, linear or branched C2-C20 alkinyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, arylalkenyl, alkenylaryl, arylalkinyl, alkinylaryl, acyloxy group and a group —CHR6—PO3H2,
R2 and R3 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkenyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkinyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, arylalkenyl, alkenylaryl, arylalkinyl, and alkinylaryl group,
 R4 is selected from a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkenyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkinyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, arylalkenyl, alkenylaryl, arylalkinyl, alkinylaryl group and the group —CHR6—PO3H2,
 R5 is selected from a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkenyl, linear or branched C2-C20 alkinyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, arylalkenyl, alkenylaryl, arylalkinyl, alkinylaryl group and the group —CHR6—PO3H2,
 Z represents —(CR6R7)x- or arylene,
 R6 and R7 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl, linear or branched C2-C6 alkenyl, linear or branched C2-C6 alkinyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, arylalkenyl, alkenylaryl, arylalkinyl and alkinylaryl group,
 n is an average value and has a value from 1 to 200 and
 x is an integer from 1 to 100;
and
(b) a siloxane of the general formula (II)

 Z1 represents a spacer or a single bond,
 R8, R9 and R10 are independently selected from H, OH, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aryl, alkylaryl, aralkyl, aralkenyl, alkenylaryl, aralkinyl, alkinylaryl, acyloxy and alkoxy, with the proviso that at least one of the groups R8, R9 and R10 is an alkoxy, acyloxy or OH group,
 and

 represents one or more functional groups selected from free-radical polymerizable groups, non-ionic hydrophilic groups, basic groups and combinations thereof.
