| 1. An image forming system for executing a print job which comprises an image forming step and a post processing step, the
image forming system comprising:
an image forming apparatus which executes the image forming step to form an image on a recording medium; and
a post processing apparatus which carries out a post processing step to the medium on which the image has been formed;
wherein, the image forming apparatus includes a control section to control the image forming apparatus such that the image
forming apparatus executes at least a part of the image forming step of a succeeding print job, in parallel with a post processing
step of a preceding job being executed in the post processing apparatus in a waiting period in executing the image forming
step of the preceding print job during which the image forming step of the preceding print job is suspended in the image forming
apparatus, and after termination of the waiting period, the image forming apparatus executes a remaining part of the image
forming step of the preceding print job.
