| 1. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:
a transparent insulating substrate;
a gate line and a gate electrode on the transparent insulating substrate;
a gate insulating film, an active layer, an ohmic contact layer, source and drain electrodes and a data line on the transparent
insulating substrate, the source and drain electrodes disposed at opposing sides of the active layer;
a passivation film formed on the transparent insulating substrate including the source and drain electrodes and the data line;
a polarizing film formed on the passivation film; and
a pixel electrode formed on at least the polarizing film,
wherein the polarizing film and the pixel electrode extend completely over the data line, and the polarizing film contacts
the passivation film.
