| 1. A system for automated testing of an application on a handset comprising:
a script operable to generate an input to the application on the handset to test the application;
a test module embedded in a source code of the application, the test module operable to monitor a response by the application
to the input by the script; and
a data comparison component operable to compare the response by the application monitored by the test module to an expected
response,
wherein the system is operable to automatically determine a type of the handset and execute the script in response to the
type of the handset.
