| 1. A process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, said process
cartridge comprising:
an electrophotographic photosensitive drum;
process means actable on said electrophotographic photosensitive drum;
a cartridge positioning portion configured and positioned to engage a main assembly positioning portion provided in the main
assembly of the apparatus to position said process cartridge with respect to the direction of the axis of said electrophotographic
photosensitive drum when said process cartridge is mounted to the main assembly of the apparatus in a direction parallel with
the axis of said photosensitive drum; and
a movable member provided at a downstream portion of said process cartridge with respect to a mounting direction in which
said process cartridge is mounted to the main assembly of the apparatus, wherein said movable member is rotatable about an
axis of a shaft,
wherein said movable member is movable between a first position at which said movable member contacts the main assembly of
the apparatus in the mounting direction and receives a force for movement thereof in the upstream direction with respect to
the mounting direction in the process of mounting of said process cartridge to the main assembly of the apparatus, and a second
position in which said movable member is contacted by an urging member provided in the main assembly of the apparatus and
receives a force in the direction of the axis so as to contact said cartridge positioning portion to the main assembly positioning
portion to position said process cartridge in the direction of the axis when said process cartridge is mounted to the main
assembly of the apparatus,
wherein a leading end of said movable member faces downstream with respect to the mounting direction, in said first position,
and wherein the leading end faces upstream with respect to the mounting direction, in said second position.
