| 1. A reconfigurable imaging system, comprising:
a support;
a first motor connected to said support;
a second motor connected to said support;
a third motor connected to said support;
a fourth motor connected to said support;
a first imaging element connected to said first motor;
a second imaging element connected to said second motor;
a third imaging element connected to said third motor;
a fourth imaging element connected to said fourth motor;
control means for selectively controlling said first motor, said second motor, said third motor and said fourth motor such
that said first imaging element, said second imaging element, said third imaging element and said fourth imaging element can
be selectively moved in and out of an optical path as desired; and
wherein said first imaging element is a lens and said second imaging element is a detector.
