| 1. A liquid jet head comprising:
a substrate in which a discharge energy generating element is provided on one surface;
a discharge port forming member which is provided with a discharge port corresponding to the discharge energy generating element,
the discharge port discharging a liquid droplet, the discharge ort forming member being provided on the substrate;
a liquid flow path which is formed to be communicated with the discharge port; and
a supply port which is formed by piercing through the one surface of the substrate to a back surface of the substrate, the
supply port communicating with the liquid flow path,
wherein an inner wall surface of the supply port and a part of a surface of an inner wall, formed by the discharge port forming
member, of the liquid flow path are covered with a protective layer made of the same material.
