| 1. A method for receiving a broadcasting service in a user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system where requested
broadcasting services are provided to a plurality of UEs within a cell through a radio network controller (RNC), the method
comprising the steps of:
receiving a broadcasting status message containing information for ongoing broadcasting services by the cell from the RNC
and determining whether the broadcasting service is included in the broadcasting status message in a UE that fails to receive
control information for the broadcasting service;
requesting the control information for the broadcasting service to the RNC if the broadcasting service is included in the
broadcasting status message; and
receiving the broadcasting service is included in the broadcasting status message after receiving the control information
from the RNC.
