| 1. A heat-resisting plastic optical fiber comprising:
a core which consists of a transparent resin, and
a clad coated on the outer periphery of said core, which consists of a resin whose refractive index is lower than that of
said core,
wherein a precursor of material for said core consists of a mixture of a group of monomers which contain a polyfunctional
monomer and a transparent thermoplastic polymer.
