| 1. An image scanning device comprising:
a conveyance path which conveys an original document;
first scanning means and second scanning means which scan a first face and a second face, respectively, of the original document
conveyed along said conveyance path; and
a white reference member used for adjusting the white levels of the scanning means;
wherein said white reference member is placed at a scanning position of said second scanning means, and
wherein said first scanning means is movable so that said first scanning means and said second scanning means can scan the
same surface of said white reference member.
