| 1. A reformer comprising:
a housing;
a substrate disposed in the housing, wherein the substrate is stable in the presence of hydrogen and steam at a temperature
of equal to or greater than about 1400° C. and comprises a stabilized aluminate and a stabilized zirconate; and
a catalyst disposed on the substrate.
