A seed magazine comprising a housing, a seed holder, and a pusher, wherein said seed holder comprises a surface defining a channel having two opposing walls and being at least one millimeter in length, wherein said channel extends to an end of said seed holder and wherein said channel is centrally located between two edges of said surface.
