| 1. A light source device comprising:
a discharge tube,
a reflector to reflect a light radiated from said discharge tube,
a support member arranged at a position near an electrode of said discharge tube to support said discharge tube at a prescribed
position with respect to said reflector, and
a heat conduction member contacting a mid portion of said discharge tube in a longitudinal direction thereof so that a portion
of said discharge tube near said electrode of said discharge tube is prevented from being the lowest point in temperature,
wherein said support member is made of heat conductive material.
